Watch Lil Uzi Vert’s vibey video for ‘Futsal Shuffle 2020’

The viral tune gets a visual that shows off Uzi’s now signature dance

Lil Uzi Vert has released a new music video for his track “Futsal Shuffle 2020”, which features the rapper putting his signature light footwork to the test with a fresh routine.

The video, which follows the release of the track last month (December 2019), shows Uzi moving in a tightly-choreographed sequence against various backdrops including a cityscape, atop a highrise building, and what looks like some kind of basement rave.

“Futsal Shuffle 2020” is from Uzi’s long-awaited second studio album Eternal Atake, which he announced back in July 2018. The LP will be the follow-up to his 2017 debut Luv is Rage 2 and is expected to feature all four of the singles he released in 2019 - “Sanguine Paradise,” “That’s a Rack”, and “Free Uzi”, along with “Futsal Shuffle 2020”. We’re still waiting for a full tracklist.

The rapper hasn’t yet announced a release date for ‘Eternal Atake’, or given an explanation for the delay. Speaking to GQ in September, he didn’t let slip any clues about why it’s taking so long. “I like making music, and I like making people happy,” he said. “But the music is whatever, bro. I really do it just to make my family happy. Like, it’s just something for my family to talk about.”

With no scheduled date for the new album-drop, fans are waiting to hear when they can expect more new music from Uzi. At least that gives us plenty of time to learn the new steps, right? In the meantime, we put Uzi’s signature looks head-to-head with friend-turned-nemesis Playboi Carti’s to work out who would emerge triumphant in the fashion stakes. Take a look to see which rapper wins Uzi’s proposed “dress-off”.
