Cardi B donated supplies to an orphanage in Nigeria on her trip to Africa

While in the continent for a festival she dropped off stacks of goods to the Motherless Babies Home

Over the weekend Cardi B played Livespot X Festival in Lagos, Nigeria, and she used her first ever visit to Africa to do some philanthropy too.

Stopping off at the Motherless Babies Home in Lekki, she and her crew brought with them heaps of supplies including water, food, diapers and more – as much as the vehicles in the convoy could carry, according to music executive Brooklyn Johnny, who was part of the crew that made the visit.

In her post on Instagram, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper made sure to give props to the staff of the orphanage saying: “Gotta thank the ladies and the gentlemen that nurtured these kids that need just a little bit of more love and protection and gear them up for a better place, destiny and future. People like Y’ALL MATTER!”

Cardi B also used her first ever trip to the continent to visit Ghana for less than 24 hours where she, in her own words, “went thru a lil dilemma” and acquired a couple of extravagant outfits that you can see her sporting on her Insta.

Check out her post from the Motherless Babies Home below.
