The body of the singer was reportedly found at her home in Seoul on Sunday, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap. Six months earlier, her manager had found the singer unconscious at her home in what was described by the media as an apparent suicide attempt. Police say they are currently establishing a cause of death but do not suspect foul play. Prior to her death, Goo had just completed a tour of Japan with new solo material. Goo had previously paid tribute to her friend Sulli, the f(x) singer who died last month. Following Sulli’s death, fans called for more mental health provisions for stars in the K-pop industry. Goo’s family have said that fans can pay respects in Hall 1 at St. Mary’s Funeral Hall in South Korea’s Gangnam District until November 27.
