Billie Eilish is giving free tickets to fans who fight climate change

All the good girls go to gigs

In recent months, Billie Eilish has been increasingly vocal about the impending environmental crisis, confronting a world on fire in her “all the good girls go to hell” video, and urging her fans to live a greener lifestyle. Now, the singer is offering free gig tickets for those who pledge to help fight climate change.

Eilish has teamed up with community-led organisation Global Citizen to give fans the chance to attend her ‘WHERE DO WE GO?’ arena tour. In a video posted to Twitter, the musician said: “I did not want you guys to have to buy tickets from scalpers, and I know you all still really want to come to the shows, so I teamed up with a great organisation called Global Citizen to help come up with a way to earn tickets.”

Fans can head to Eilish’s Global Citizen page to “learn more about environmental issues”, and sign up to win tickets to her sold out shows, including four nights at London’s O2 Arena in July.

The competition is run through the organisation’s Rewards platform, which encourages people to sign up to become a Global Citizen and take action to help challenges like plastic pollution. Fans can then earn points which can be redeemed as free gig tickets.

Eilish concluded: “We can tackle these challenges and create a more sustainable world.”

In September, the singer announced plans to make her upcoming world tour “as green as possible”. As well as banning plastic straws and allowing fans to bring their own water bottles, the tour will also feature a ‘Billie Eilish Eco-Village’, where fans can learn about climate change.

Sign up to be a Global Citizen and win Billie Eilish tickets here.
