Dev Hynes directs Beck’s ‘Uneventful Days’ video

Evan Rachel Wood, Tessa Thompson, and Alia Shawkat all appear in the video

Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes has directed the music video for “Uneventful Days”, a new song from Beck’s forthcoming album Hyperspace.

The video stars actors Evan Rachel Wood, Tessa Thompson, and Alia Shawkat. Thompson wears the same look that Beck had in his “Devil’s Haircut” video, and there are other wardrobe references to past videos from the musician.

The video also includes a clip from the track “Hyperlife”, which also appears on Hyperspace. The album is due out November 22, and also features co-writing and production from Pharrell Williams, with Sky Ferreira and Chris Martin both appearing on the record.
