Founded in Paris in 2007 Stage of the Art is run by the three partners – Laurence Alvart, Maxemilian Nilsson and Geraldine Postel – who organise unique collaborations with major artists in music, visual arts, architecture, and fashion in order to facilitate creative exchanges. In the past they have collaborated with musical talents such as Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, Tom Waits, Tricky, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Morrissey, Joe Strummer, Sigur Ros, Cat Power and more. This event will witness the meeting on stage of the American anti-folk genius Adam Green and ex-Libertine Carl Barat who will come together to create a custom-made event for Stage of the Art while also performing solo.
