Travis Scott is releasing a Netflix film

The rapper announced Look Mom I Can Fly on Instagram with a pop up event in Houston

Travis Scott took the definition of ‘throw back Thursday’ to the extreme last night when he shared images of VHS tapes bearing the title Look Mom I Can Fly, with the rapper’s face on the front, along with the Netflix logo.

He wrote “GOT SOMETHING U MIGHT WANNA SEE IT..!!!MEET ME HERE NETFLIX AND NO. CHILL” on his Instagram, along with a Houston address for the pop up event.

‘Ragers’ turned up in their masses and, as any good fan would do, shared the event on Twitter. The pop up gave out a limited number of VHS tapes, which show a 60 second promo clip of the upcoming Netflix film, while posters on walls announced the release date- August 28.

The Look Mom I Can Fly tapes give an insight into what we can expect from the Netflix project, from the momentous success of Scott’s worldwide tour Astroworld to his documented family life with Kylie Jenner. Images shared by fans show the case reading “Tape includes never before seen footage including the making of Astroworld the album, early fatherhood, the founding of Cactus Jack the label, exclusive tour footage & much more’

Fans only have to wait a week for the Netflix film but in the meanwhile take a look at the promo video below.
