Watch Teyana Taylor’s new, self-directed video for ‘Issues/Hold On’

The song gets some 70s inspired visuals, featuring A$AP Rocky with an afro

Teyana “Spike Tee” Taylor. That’s the name the singer uses in the credits of her new, self-directed video for “Issues/Hold On”, a song off her Kanye West-produced 2018 album, K.T.S.E.

It’s an appropriate moniker, too; the whole video has a 70s vibe reminiscent of BlacKkKlansman (think grainy earth tones, vinyl, and, yes, A$AP Rocky sporting a pretty impressive afro). Besides the stars, Taylor and Rocky, there are also cameo appearances from A$AP Ferg and Tyler the Creator, among others.

As for the titular “Issues”, there are plenty in Teyana Taylor and A$AP Rocky’s relationship throughout the video, with hints of infidelity and jealousy in the studio and at a house party. In the end, though, they do indeed decide to “Hold On”, wrapping the video up with a pretty steamy conclusion.
