Watch the latest episode of Dazed Does Room Service with Calpurnia

The teen indie rock band, fronted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, dish on who they’d most like to hang out with on tour

Welcome back to Dazed Does Room Service, the series in which we visit the stars in their hotel rooms to serve up hard-hitting questions with ASMR-worthy snacks. In this latest instalment, we catch up with Calpurnia: the teen band blending classic rock with heady psychedelia.

Originally from Vancouver, the band has made a name for itself due to its nostalgic sensibilities and slick production, thanks to Cadien Lake James of Twin Peaks. Fronted by Stranger Things star (and past Dazed 100 winner) Finn Wolfhard, the band is made up of Ayla Tesler-Mabe (17, guitar), Malcolm Craig (15, drums), and Jack Anderson (17, drums). After performing covers of their favourite bands including The Velvet Underground in their home city, Calpurnia released their first EP Scout in March last year, and made their television debut performing their original single City Boy on Jimmy Kimmel Live in July.

Watch the video above to see Calpurnia scran classic British confectionary, and compare Elton John with Oprah and Kurt Cobain as dream hotel room guests. And if you’re hungry for more, read our interview with the band here.
