HYUKOH and Mark Lebon team up for new video ‘LOVE YA!’

Watch exclusive behind the scenes footage from the shoot, with the Dazed 100 band and cult photographer

HYUKOHwho are part of this year’s Dazed 100, are sharing an exclusive inside look behind the scenes of their “LOVE YA!” music video today on Dazed. The South Korean indie band are a blast of fresh air with their carefree pop songs – and it’s a happy coincidence that, with Pride month kicking off, the video celebrates various relationships while encouraging couples around the world to embrace themselves as they are.

The video was directed by acclaimed director and photographer Mark Lebon, who has in the past collaborated with artists like Mount Kimbie and Micachu. “It was an honour shooting a video with Mark Lebon,” the band told Dazed. “He was such a fantastic person with a great vibe. By shooting this video together, we got to think of how lucky we would be growing older like Mark. We wrote the song in the minds of ‘supporting all the lovers in this world’, and with Mark, we got to portray those thoughts in the music video also.”

The South Korean collective includes Oh Hyuk, Im Dong-geon, Lim Hyun-jae, and Lee In-woo. Frontman Oh Hyuk has previously appeared on the cover of Dazed Korea in his electric blue hair, championing not only music but fashion, with interest in Undercover and Martine Rose to name a few.

Watch the video and the exclusive BTS footage below, and don't forget to vote for HYUKOH in the Dazed 100.
