Watch Lorde’s stunning cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Lost’

The musician shows her love for Frank once more at Primavera

Lorde surprised fans when she performed a cover of  “Lost” from Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange album this weekend at Primavera Sound, Barcelona. This isn’t the first time she has covered one of his songs, previously taking on “Solo” during her tour stop in Milwaukee back in March.

The New Zealand artist has previously expressed how Blonde was a major inspiration for her acclaimed album Melodrama. She puts her own twist on the song, as an intimate, stripped down, and emotional cover.

Lorde has been adventurous and playful with her live covers, having previously given her own spin to Drake’s “Shot For Me” and Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown”, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, The 1975, among others.

Recently, Lorde deleted all but a few posts on her social media, “No stress just pulling back the curtain again for a moment… she’s a baby writer in search of a legacy… will keep u posted. Love u all so much more than u know,” she commented on a fan’s post.

Watch Lorde pace the stage in a dreamy white nightie-like dress and perform her stark cover below.
