Last month, filmmaker Ava DuVernay revealed that Sade would be recording a new song from her film A Wrinkle In Time. “I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway,” DuVernay tweeted at the time. “She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget.”

Now, producer No I.D. shared the song on Twitter. “A legend. Sade, it was an honor,” No I.D. wrote.

The gorgeous “Flower of the Universe” is Sade and her band’s first new recording since their last studio album, Soldier of Love, in 2010, although a handful of previously unreleased tracks appeared on 2011’s The Ultimate Collection compilation.

A Wrinkle In Time, adapted from Madeleine L’Engle’s 1962 novel, stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling, and hits theatres later this week on March 9.
