Shot by Joe Cavallini, it features an all-star cast including models Barbie Ferreira and Hua Tsai and dancers Les Twins. Heading up the group is singer-songwriter – and Dazed favourite – Kacy Hill, who is no stranger to modelling. Her success story is well-documented; she made headlines back in 2014 when she went from American Apparel model to Yeezus tour dancer to fully-fledged signee of Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label. A steady stream of buzz singles followed the announcement, all of which acted as a precursor to Like A Woman, her full-length debut. Instead of featuring a series of buzzy, expected collaborations with her high-profile label-mates, Hill took the time to curate her own sound; an interesting juxtaposition of airy vocals with minimalist production and sensual visuals defines her experimental first album. In the MCM campaign video, we see Hill in higher spirits, dancing, sharing gifts and laughing in an energetic clip which aims to spotlight the importance of unity and inclusivity in an otherwise turbulent year. To celebrate the campaign, we reached out to the star to talk touring, collaborations and her own Christmas plans. Your debut album explored the complexities of relationships and break-ups as a young woman. Was it difficult to put out something so personal? Kacy Hill: I think the album felt lyrically ambiguous, so there was a bit of a veil covering everything that made it easy to put out. I would like to get even more personal and specific as I grow in my songwriting. ‘Lion’ was re-recorded and put on the album. Why was it important for you to include it? Kacy Hill: I had nearly finished one version of the whole album when I put out on ‘Lion’, and it was meant to be on the album from the beginning. Everything got re-produced though, including ‘Lion’. “I think the album felt lyrically ambiguous, so there was a bit of a veil covering everything that made it easy to put out. I would like to get even more personal and specific as I grow in my songwriting” – Kacy Hill Are there plans to tour more extensively? If so, what vision do you have in mind for your live shows? Kacy Hill: I am writing currently, but I want to get back on the road as soon as I can. I miss doing shows immensely. You’ve talked previously about steering clear of collaborations to focus on your solo work. Now that the album is out, are you working with anyone in the near future? Kacy Hill: I definitely want to hop into more collaborations now that I’m writing again. I feel a lot happier and more comfortable in the studio these days. The MCM campaign video is all about friends and celebration. Are there any anecdotes you can share from the shoot? Kacy Hill: There was a really big fruit plate towards the end. That was a real treat. How will you be spending your Christmas this year? Kacy Hill: At home, eating and weightlifting. Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MORE‘It’s spiritual warfare’: Bricknasty are fighting for Dublin’s precariatBABYMETAL: The ‘little girls’ who shaped a generation of metal music InstagramHow to become a foodfluencer, according to Instagram Rings creatorsThe only tracks you need to hear from October 2025The UK Music Video Award winners are hereKelly Lee Owens’ guide to a good night outAccorParcels’ Jules Crommelin: ‘This isn’t just a tour, it’s life’ Dazed Mix: Jennifer WaltonBillie Eilish calls out billionaires: ‘No hate, but give your money away’In pictures: KATSEYE get spicy at debut UK showSlew’s dream night out?
