Watch Blood Orange lead suit-clad dancers in new visual

The Dev Hynes-directed video features Carly Rae Jepsen and a synchronised dance sequence for the wistful track from Freetown Sound

Blood Orange has dropped a music video for “Better Than Me”, featuring Carly Rae Jepsen and a host of dancers kitted out in suits. The track features on Freetown Sound, the musician’s third studio album under the Blood Orange moniker and one of this year’s most powerful releases

The video was directed by Dev Hynes, who's also previously self-directed videos like “Augustine” and the hypnotic “I Know”. Hynes appears in the video to lead the set of suit-clad dancers, choreographed by Juri Onuki, with Canadian singer Jepsen lending her vocals and appearing in the clip. Other musicians to feature on the album include Empress Of, Nelly Furtado, Debbie Harry, Patrick Wimberly and Kindness, among others.
