It shows Hynes practise a semi-choreographed dance routine with Russian ballerina Maria Kochetkova, who is a principal dancer at the San Francisco Ballet and the American Ballet Theater. According to an accompanying press release, the video was directed by the singer himself, as well as photographer Tracy Antonopoulos. “I Know” is the second single to be released from Freetown Sound, and follows on from the June-released “Augustine”.
