Music / NewsLana Del Rey teams up with The Weeknd for ‘Party Monster’The R&B singer also drops a new collaboration with Daft PunkShareLink copied ✔️November 18, 2016MusicNewsTextSelim Bulut The Weeknd is releasing his new album Starboy next Friday (November 25). Ahead of its release, he’s put out two new songs: one featuring Lana Del Rey, the other featuring Daft Punk. “Party Monster”, presumably named after club kid Michael Alig, features Lana Del Rey and is a dark, noirish piece of synthy R&B. Del Rey’s contribution isn’t huge, but it is memorable, with the singer providing backing vocals and emphasising the word ‘paranoid’. The two artists previously collaborated on “Prisoner” from The Weeknd’s 2015 album Beauty Behind the Madness. “I Feel It Coming”, meanwhile, is The Weeknd’s second collaboration with Daft Punk following the muted “Starboy” – it’s a more upbeat and typically Daft Punk-sounding track than their previous team-up. Listen to the two tracks below. Daft Punk and Lana Del Rey aren’t the only high profile collaborations on Starboy. Yesterday (November 17) he shared the full tracklist for the album, revealing further collaborations with Kendrick Lamar and Future.
