It’s Halloween, and rather than sharing yet another playlist featuring “The Monster Mash” and “Thriller”, we’ve decided to keep things current with a selection of spooky songs from the past 12 months or so. There’s a cover of the Stranger Things theme by synth legends Tangerine Dream (as well as a track by S U R V I V E, the band whose members include Stranger Things composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein), a cut from horror auteur John Carpenter’s latest album Lost Themes II, some demonic disco from Xander Harris, ghoulish grime from AJ Tracey, and wicked witch-hop by Princess Nokia.
