Last night he kicked off a run of US dates at Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse – and when fans entered the arena, they were surprised to see that there was no stage. Instead, an elevated platform hung in the air above the open floor, with Kanye rapping over the audience. Kanye creative director Virgil Abloh described it as “purely insane”, while footage captured by Twitter users show spotlights shining directly onto the rapper as people mosh below. Throughout the show, the platform would glide over the audience. CoS report that Kanye played a 31-track set that was mostly dominated by tracks from his latest album The Life of Pablo, though he still found time to play staples like “All Falls Down” and “Jesus Walks”, as well as Drake’s “Pop Style”.
