Today the band have released an official video for the track to honour the memory of Jo Cox, the Labour MP for Batley & Spen who was murdered last week by a far-right nationalist. The minimalistic video features a single black-and-white shot of Portishead singer Beth Gibbons beckoning with her hand. Its release comes not only a day before the UK votes in the EU referendum, but also on what would have been Jo Cox’s 42nd birthday. The video ends with a quote from Cox, who used her maiden speech in parliament to voice her support for refugees. “We have far more in common than that which divides us.” Watch the video above.
