Yung Lean has revealed that he was arrested earlier this week, after tweeting about spending the night in a jail cell.

The Swedish rapper, who is currently on a break from his latest tour, shared the unexpected news on his Twitter account yesterday morning (May 31). 

“Woke up in a jail cell w all my jewelry in a plastic bag smh,” he posted. “Got out this morning they wouldn’t even let me ride the train back home. fuck them (sic).”

The tweets were swiftly deleted, with Lean – real name Jonatan Aron Leandoer Håstad – offering no real explanation about the incident. He did, however, reassure fans later that day by adding that he was “fine” and back with his grandmother. See the full mysterious series below:
