We’re big fans of Lana Del Rey’s unique visual aesthetic, so we’re always keen to watch any new video she drops. Freak, which was released early this morning, doesn’t disappoint. Featuring singer-songwriter Father John Misty, Freak is Del Rey’s latest release off new album Honeymoon.

The video also features the mermaids from earlier video Music to watch Boys to, this time popping acid with Father John Misty. Like all the best Lana tracks, the song has a dreamy, slowed-down California vibe which is reflected in the muted seventies aesthetic of the video. It also clocks in at an impressive eleven minutes in length – after the track finishes we're treated to Lana and her mermaids swimming underwater in a kind of blissed-out, bucolic haze to Claude Debussy's "Clair de Lune." It's very beautiful, and slightly strange – which is probably how we'd describe Lana herself.
