Montreal beat-whiz and Soundcloud demi-God Kaytranada (real name Kevin Celestin) fast became one of the poster boys for 2013's funk-flecked r&b sound, signed to the Huh What & Where label along with Ta-Ku and Sweater Beats. On the map from the get-go following his ghostly Janet Jackson remix, Kay set about spinning his infectious, inimitable twist onto everything from TLC to Banks. "This will be the year my debut album drops and I'll be in the studio making beats for talented individuals that are killin' it right now." Here, he talks backstage on the No Peer Pressure tour about his love of Bob Marley, Drake giving him props and not being afraid to add your own flavour.
