Influenced by legendary band Crass, the Danish punk canon, and general, youthful paranoia, Copenhageners Iceage are four bong-hitting teens who play habit-formingly visceral punk rock haunted by the ghosts of a half-forgotten, avant-garde past. It’s jagged sounds for violent times and Danish music critics are currently scratching their beards in bewildered approval while their live shows are making the kids of the restless Copenhagen underground lose their minds in brutal thrash pits.

Yes indeed, Iceage are punk as fuck. So punk, in fact, that it took them around two weeks to answer these relatively straightforward questions… but that’s okay as they’re coming to grips with heated interest from sites like Altered Zones and an upcoming tour supporting Canadian hardcore monsters Fucked Up.
