‘How I Became’: a new online event series for aspiring creatives

We’ll be speaking to some of the most inspirational figures in fashion, music, photography, and more to deliver the kind of careers advice they don’t teach you at school

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of ‘How I Became’, a new series of free webinars designed to offer careers advice to aspiring creatives.

Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be speaking to some of the most inspirational figures in fashion, music, photography, and more about their career trajectories.

Every week at 2pm Dazed Club creative director Jack Sunnucks will invite a special guest to discuss how they won their first break, the career lessons they’ve learned, and the trials, tribulations and triumphs they’ve faced so far.

‘How I Became’ hopes to demystify the creative industry and improve accessibility. “We had a lot of feedback from over 10,000 people in Dazed Club that there’s still a lot of mystery when it comes to jobs in the creative industry – from getting your foot in the door to what it takes to keep one,” says Sunnucks. “Conquer blank stares from your careers department with this primer on fashion industry jobs!”
