Life & Culture / NewsLife & Culture / NewsThe 2024 Dazed 100 is hereAlongside our usual global Dazed 100 list, this year we’re launching three additional lists specific to the US, the MENA region, and AsiaShareLink copied ✔️December 2, 2024December 2, 2024TextDazed Digital The Dazed 100 is back! Since launching, the Dazed 100 has featured some of the most inspiring young people in fashion, music, activism, and more: from Kendall Jenner, to Stormzy, to Greta Thunberg. Dazed 100 alumni have gone on to win Grammys, lead influential fashion brands, receive Oscar nominations, and even make history. This year we’re launching four different Dazed 100 lists across four different regions. We’ll still be publishing our usual Global list, but we’ve also put together lists specific to the US, the MENA region, and Asia to spotlight even more international talent. The lists have been carefully curated by Dazed teams across the world (US, MENA, and Korea), to celebrate the next generation of creatives, activists, and pioneers driving youth culture forward. “We are looking for leaders in their communities and creative minds shaping the way that young people think, work and feel,” says Dazed editor-in-chief IB Kamara. “We should highlight those who capture a generation. People from all over the world – a truly global list – who are the changemakers influencing culture right now.” Our Global Dazed 100 is published today, featuring a selection of names from the US, MENA, and Asia lists too. But stay tuned as we’ll be launching the other lists in their entirety this week: the US Dazed 100 on December 3, MENA on December 4, and Asia on December 5. This year’s Global Dazed 100 includes some of the buzziest names in culture right now. In the music category, the list features indie artist and Dazed cover star Mk.Gee, Palestinian musician Elyanna, and the indomitable Chappell Roan. The fashion category includes pioneering designers such as Eden Tan, Sidiki Touré, and Rui Zhou. We’re also spotlighting pioneers in the beauty industry, including the likes of Matilda Mace, an expressive SFX artist, Ellen Atlanta, an incisive author on beauty culture, and Naomi Yasuda, a nail artist specialising in intricate designs. Excitingly, we also have five Dazed Clubbers on this year’s Global list after we published a call-out on our website and social channels asking you to nominate the people you think are shaping youth culture today. We’ll also be hosting a party to celebrate the launch of this year’s Dazed 100 on December 5. With performances from talent featured on last year’s and this year’s Dazed 100 list, it’s not a night you’ll want to miss.
