20-year-old Vivian Jenna Wilson has issued a scathing response to her father Elon Musk’s transphobic rant during an interview with Jordan Peterson earlier this week, in which he shockingly declared that his child had figuratively ‘died’ due to puberty blockers.

The series of posts on Threads opens with an outright denial of Musk’s account of her childhood, where he said she had been born “gay and slightly autistic” – two “attributes” he believes contributed to her gender dysphoria (he went on to say that he could tell she was gay because of her “love of musicals and theatre”, and because she used to pick out “fabulous” clothes for him to wear).

“This is entirely fake,” said Wilson. She continued: “He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there, and in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness. Obviously he can’t say that, so I’ve been reduced to a happy little stereotype f*g-ing along to use at his discretion. I think that says a lot about how he views queer people and children in general.”

Wilson, who filed a petition in 2022 to change her name and cut off her father, added: “Obviously Elon can’t say the same because in a ketamine-fueled haze, he’s desperate for attention and validation from an army of degenerate red-pilled incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him. Go touch some fucking grass✨”

Wilson has since expanded on these comments in a separate NBC interview, published yesterday (July 25). In it, Wilson recounts one instance in which Musk yelled at her “violently” for having a high-pitched voice. “It was cruel,” she told NBC.

Wilson also pointed out the irony in the fact that Musk admits to “having zero reading comprehension” in his interview with Jordan Peterson, claiming that he had been “tricked” into agreeing to gender-affirming healthcare for Wilson. Musk’s self-branding rests on a posturing of rationality, and the tech mogul has previously supported ‘effective altruism’ forum LessWrong.com which attempts to override questions of morality with impersonal logic. “He was not tricked,” Wilson explained in her NBC interview, emphasising that her father had read the papers multiple times.

In the wake of the statement, Musk’s ex-wife and singer Grimes, who has previously sued Musk for parental rights over their children, came out in support of Wilson. “I love and am forever endlessly proud of Vivian,” she posted on X. Musk himself is yet to respond.

Wilson concluded the interview with NBC by stressing that both puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy ended up saving her life. “Let’s not get that twisted,” she said. “They definitely allowed me to thrive.”
