Well, look no further than next week’s Making It Up As We Go Along, our monthly talk series, where Dazed’s social media team will be sharing their tips. Here, our content editor Vanessa Hsieh, social media editor Marios Mystidis and social media coordinator Chester McKee will be talking about how to create and implement a professional cross-platform social media strategy. (So, more than just doing a Happy Birthday post.) The team look after everything Dazed put out on social – from memes to daily online articles to quarterly magazine drops, as well as running commentary on what’s going on in the world, and entertaining video content. “We’ll talk you through everything that goes on behind the scenes at Dazed social,” says Mystidis. “The strategy and innovation that goes into sharing our work, but also the late nights and last-minute drops that keep us on our toes.” From planning v reacting, to nailing a meme, they’ll chat you through some of the most exciting campaigns and activations they’ve launched; explore how to build an engaged community; and discuss how to find an authentic tone of voice, sharing their first-hand tips and tricks.
