A multi-year collaboration between the artist and Australian wine company 19 Crimes, the wine is set to hit the shelves of US stores this summer. Snoop Cali Red will be the first ever California wine to be produced by 19 Crimes. The company, which is worth $36 million in Australia, is today considered the number one contributor to the growth of the wine market. “I’ve been a fan of this wine and I’m excited to unveil my Snoop Cali Red this summer and share the experience with all my fans,” Snoop said in a press release. “It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!” The artist isn’t the only one to be excited about the launch. “Snoop Dogg, an entertainment and California icon, is the perfect partner for 19 Crimes’ Snoop Cali Red,” the company’s marketing vice president, John Wardley, said. “Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes – rule-breaking, culture creating, and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family.” Lockdown probably won’t be over by the summer (sorry), but at least US residents can drop it like it’s hot at home after drinking a few bottles of Snoop’s Cali Red.
