Attention film lovers! Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club is officially back with a packed spring/summer season. Following last year’s stellar autumn run (see: screenings of The Substance, Bird, and more) the upcoming season will feature screenings of both new releases and cult classics at cinemas across London.

In the coming months, you can expect to catch exclusive showings of films like Amalia Ulman’s absurdist, Chloë Sevigny-starring comedy Magic Farm and an adaptation of the Deborah Levy novel Hot Milk, alongside a special Gregg Araki screening. First, though? The Last Showgirl.

Directed by Gia Coppola, The Last Showgirl casts Pamela Anderson as a middle-aged Las Vegas showgirl, Shelly, whose future is cast into uncertainty when the revue she’s headlined for decades announces its imminent closure. As she confronts the decisions she’s made and the life she’s built as a performer, she attempts to repair her relationship with her daughter (played by Billie Lourd).

Hailed as a career-best performance for Anderson, The Last Showgirl is available to stream on MUBI. As part of Dazed Club, you can now snag 40% off a 12-month MUBI membership (download the Dazed Club app to take full advantage of the promotion).

Cinema fans will also be able to catch a screening at Dalston’s Rio Cinema on April 30, courtesy of Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club. This will open at 6pm and feature an exclusive, live-streamed Q&A with Coppola herself, hosted by the Independent’s chief film critic, Clarisse Loughrey. As always, tickets come with a free drink and popcorn, with discounted tickets available for Dazed Club members. Get your tickets here.
