Get tickets for an extra special preview of Sofia Coppola's Priscilla

Ahead of the much-anticipated film’s official release date, Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club is hosting an exclusive screening at the Cinema at Selfridges

By now, you’re probably already excited for Priscilla, Sofia Coppola’s retelling of the romantic, dangerous, and “frighteningly familiar” relationship between Priscilla Beaulieu and Elvis Presley. If so, then you’re in luck, because Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club is set to host a very special preview of the film next week, ahead of its official January 1 release date.

In case you somehow aren’t on board with the Priscilla hype yet, then allow us to get you up to speed. Flipping the script on traditional Elvis biopics, Coppola (Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette) focuses on Priscilla’s story, recounting her relationship with the rock and roll legend through her eyes, first as a 14-year-old on the military base in Germany where she met him, then as a subject of high school gossip and tabloid speculation, and finally as a mother who made the difficult choice to end her marriage to the musician.

Based on Priscilla Beaulieu Presley’s memoir Elvis and Me, the story follows the pair (played by Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi, respectively) through their long, controversial courtship and tumultuous marriage. Priscilla’s seduction and ultimate isolation at Elvis’ famed Graceland mansion will no doubt strike a familiar chord for Coppola-lovers.

On December 13, all of this is coming to the Cinema at Selfridges courtesy of Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club, as part of Dazed’s ongoing collaboration with the film distributor and streaming service. From 7pm, guests will also be able to indulge in diner-style bites including sliders and hot dogs (vegan options available), themed cocktails, and of course popcorn.

Plus, the event will be a chance to get your hands on a special printed edition of AnOther Magazine’s Document section, guest-edited by Sofia Coppola herself to celebrate the new film. Sound good? Tickets are now available for purchase here, with a half-price offer for Dazed Club members (learn more here). All tickets will also include a free goodie bag.
