Watch Keanu Reeves in a new trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music

Kid Cudi also appears in new clips from the forthcoming reboot

A third Bill & Ted film, once again starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, was first announced all the way back in 2016, and we’ve since seen various snippets of the pair reprising their roles as the titular characters.

Now, a new trailer (unveiled July 23) offers a more in-depth look at the film, Bill & Ted Face the Music. The teaser begins with Bill and Ted at couples therapy, but quickly descends into chaotic time travelling as they attempt to write a song “to save reality as we know it”.

Kid Cudi also appears in the trailer, along with historic musicians and the newly-introduced daughters of Bill and Ted, played by Samara Weaving and Dazed 100 alum Brigette Lundy-Paine.

Recent posts to the film’s official Instagram reveal that it will be made available both on demand and in select theatres September 1. The original release date, August 21, was rescheduled in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
