How to submit your own house tour to NOWNESS’ Make Your Own My Place series

It’s your turn

For the last five years, NOWNESS’ My Place series has given us a peek inside the homes of some of our favourite creatives, from publishing prodigy Tavi Gevinson’s sleek New York pad to Charli XCX’s Tudor party house in the Hollywood Hills and fashion’s enfant terrible Dilara Findikoglu’s spellbinding sanctuary in London – we’ve seen it all. But now it’s your turn.

In Make Your Own My Place, a new series by NOWNESS, we want you to see your homes. All you have to do is download a VHS filter on your phone and send us a video introducing yourself and showcasing your favourite room in the house. Then choose your three most prized possessions (think: a painting, photograph, phone, Tabi boots, year three Frosties swim badge, and so on) and tell us about them. When you’re done, upload the video onto your Instagram story and tag #Nowness and #MyPlace.
