Structured similarly to the iconic Warhol films, but instead giving us — the audience — the chance to ask the new leaders in their fields’ questions. The aim is to create an intimate, honest dialogue, celebrating new talent and their unique perspectives. Persol will be livestreaming the series of candid interviews across Instagram and Facebook. For round one, Jefferson Hack, co-founder of Dazed, sat down with 13 Reasons Why star Brandon Flynn. In their conversation of “anything and everything”, they discussed Brandon’s journey from reluctant school play participator to teen drama stardom, and his opinions on the power and importance of Pride. For the next two instalments, Luka Sabbat, self-titled creative entrepreneur and fashion industry veteran, will take the hot seat, followed by acclaimed director Gia Coppola — whose work spans from her feature Palo Alto to creating music videos for the likes of Blood Orange and Carly Rae Jepson — to complete the trilogy. To be involved, you can submit your questions to Persol via DMs across their Instagram or Facebook, and stay tuned for details of the live dates.
