Film & TVFeatureMeet the season 10 queens of RuPaul’s Drag RaceLadies, start your engines!ShareLink copied ✔️February 23, 2018Film & TVFeatureTextAlim Kheraj We might be in the middle of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3, but that hasn’t stopped the legendary Supermodel of the World from ruvealing exactly who will be competing in the show’s upcoming 10th season. We’ve been gagging ever since Season 10, and it’s new 90-minute episodes, was announced. And now, putting all that speculation on the lively Drag Race subreddit to rest, Mama Ru and VH1 have announced the 14 queens vying for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar, and it looks like things are gonna get sickening *death drops*. “While preparing for Season 10, I realised that one of our contestants was 11-years-old when we first launched Drag Race,” RuPaul said about the contestants. “The fact that we’re still here and still going strong is because of our talented queens. They are the heart and soul of the series. And as they continue to evolve and push the boundaries of drag, so does Drag Race.” So get your stan cards ready and prepare to pick your favourites as we introduce you to the queens of Season 10: AQUARIA AquariaVH1 At just 21 years old, Aquaria might be a baby drag queen but that doesn’t mean she isn’t formidable. The Brooklyn-based queen is a fashion favourite, having been snapped by Steven Klein for Vogue Italia, and has made a name for herself in New York’s competitive drag scene. And like Taylor Swift, she has one heck of a reputation. ASIA O’HARA Asia O'HaraVH1 Hailing from Texas, Asia is a pageant queen and winner of Miss Gay America, a prize she won the first time she participated. She has a costume designing business on the side where she actually makes clothing for ice skaters. BLAIR ST. CLAIR Blair St. ClairVH1 Blair St. Clair has a love for musical theatre, which she combines with her love of drag. Described as “a small-town girl with big city dreams”, Blair could be a triple threat in sheep’s clothing. DUSTY RAY BOTTOMS Dusty Ray BottomsVH1 She describes herself as “dark, glamourous and trashy”, which is always a good sign. This Kentucky-born New Yorker oozes individuality, and is described as “defying categorisation”. EUREKA O’HARA Eureka O’HaraVH1 We had the pleasure of meeting Eureka in Season 9 where, unfortunately, she injured herself while doing the splits. She’s back, though, and ready to prove what she has to take home that coveted year’s supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics (that and the $100,000 prize money, obvs). KALORIE KARBDASHIAN-WILLIAMS Kalorie Karbdashian-WilliamsVH1 While we’re screaming at Kalorie’s name, this Albuquerque queen has another thing worth screaming about: her ass! Described as “a twerk queen” (lol), Kalorie flaunts what Mama Ru gave her and she ain’t apologising. KAMERON MICHAELS Kameron MichaelsVH1 Perhaps a first for Drag Race, Kameron is a muscle-queen who loves spending time down the gym in a bid to capture “strength and beauty”. With tattoos a-plenty, she’s described as “the bodybuilder Barbie doll”. MAYHEM MILLER Mayhem MillerVH1 With a name like Mayhem Miller we’re hoping that this California-native queen will provide us with more drama since Phi Phi O'Hara told Sharon Needles to “go back to party city where you belong”. She is also the drag sister of Drag Race royalty like Raven, Morgan McMichaels, Delta and Detox, so she comes from pedigree dahhling. MIZ CRACKER Miz CrackerVH1 Lucky enough to call Bob the Drag Queen her drag mother, Miz Cracker is described as “pretty and witty” and found herself doing drag after she joined Bob’s Marches for Equality in Times Square. We love a political queen. MONET X CHANGE Monét X ChangeVH1 A Bronx-born queen, Monét is said to blur the lines between comedy and performance (whatever that means). She does, however, hold a degree in Opera Performance, so we’re expecting her to slay any musical challenges. MONIQUE HEART Monique HeartVH1 A devoted Christian, Monique Heart has been described as a well-rounded queen who knows how to make an entrance. Despite her ferocity to win the competition, during filming she earned herself the moniker of the “Heart of Season 10”. THE VIXEN The VixenVH1 The Vixen has become known in her home of Chicago for combining performance with the political. She also makes political, brings activism to the stage and is described as a “woke queen”. VANESSA VANJIE MATEO Vanessa Vanjie MateoVH1 Vanessa is Season 4’s Alexis Mateo’s drag daughter. Alexis has competed on the show twice, so there are some big heels to fill. But said to be a killer dancer with a fab personality, Vanessa could take it all the way. YUHUA HAMASAKI Yuhua HamasakiVH1 Yuhua is the first queen in Drag Race herstory to come from China. Now living in New York, Yuhua is a sickening seamstress who has made dresses for Bob the Drag Queen and Peppermint.
