However, as the show unfolded, it became clear that the duo also wanted to revisit some of their previous signature styles. There was plenty of corsetry, leopard print and – following up on last season’s antics – underwear peeking from underneath sheer fabrics. Romantic accents also made an appearance – this time in the guise of lace and crystal decoration on chemise-like gowns. Still, Dolce & Gabbana wouldn’t be the same without the retro bombshell theme running through, and this time it gained presence when the first lace-up bustiers and leopard print pencil skirts hit the runway.
