Moschino is renowned for its tongue-in-cheek inspirations and its new summer collection is yet another take on the surrealist approach that made its aesthetic unique in the first place. Clashing combinations of stripes and polka dots permeated the collection, with the majority of the outfits kept in shades of navy, white and red. Beaded admiral jackets were paired with pussybow blouses, while giant gold earrings and hedscarves made an elegant addition to the voluminous silhouette. In keeping with the brand’s humourous approach, some jackets came embellished with rows of timbles, others with giant dangling pearls.
