Two new names join the ranks of MAN this season, as Topman and Fashion East bring the biggest and best unique showcase to the ever growing Men’s Day at London Fashion Week. Showing alongside New Power Studio, the brainchild of designer Thom Murphy, will be Central St Martin’s MA Graduate Felipe Rojas Llanos and a long awaited catwalk debut from Martine Rose’s self titled label. Felipe Rojas Llanos was born in Chile in 1981 and brought up in Sweden. He graduated from the Central Saint Martin’s Menswear MA, showing his collection entitled Suspended Animation as one of only four menswear designers at the legendary course’s London Fashion Week show where he received the bursary award from Giorgio Armani.

The collection consists of luxurious, yet highly wearable garments, with couture-like attention to detail. The style is innovative and sophisticated, with a playful edge. Llano’s MA collection will be sold exclusively at Browns whilst New Power Studio is a London-based menswear label which offers wearable clothes with an edge, inspired by pop culture, combining sportswear and tailoring references.

It has shown at menswear day of London Fashion Week for the last three seasons, in the form of a Fashion East menswear installation, a film (whose images were simultaneously rendered into textile prints for the collection) and as part of the MAN runway show.
