The concept store Darkroom opened its doors in December last year in Holborn's Lambs Conduit Street and prides itself on stocking a unique array of luxury accessories from the worlds of fashion and interiors. The Darkroom also hosts a calendar of bi-monthly art and sculpture exhibitions. Having just launched their 'Into Africa' series - a showcase of luxury accessories inspired by indigenous African craft - they've also invited a selection of designers to produce a unique products ranging from jewellery, to art prints, wallets and bags. The series will be sold alongside authentic vintage African pieces carefully sourced founders Rhonda Drakeford and Lulu Roper Caldbeck.The prestigious designers participating will include print designer David David, Fred Butler, H by Harris, Noel Stuart, jewellery designer Florian, and Corrie Williamson.
