The brand landed in the UK last year, bringing with it a refreshingly unfussy take on affordable but elegant shoes. Now, HEYDUDE is stepping into a new era with a new campaign fronted by Lewis Capaldi. Fresh off his Glastonbury comeback and sell-out tour, Capaldi is the perfect match for HEYDUDE Country. The campaign captures his humour and is a reminder that comfort isn’t just about what you wear, but how you feel. “It’s been great to partner up with HEYDUDE, who are all about feeling right in yourself,” explains Capaldi, speaking on the collaboration. “Making music is something that brings me a lot of comfort. You have to make music for you, and then you hope that people find some of themselves in it.” To celebrate the launch, HEYDUDE is throwing a one-night-only event in Glasgow on July 31st and Dazed Club members have the chance to attend. Taking place at Wunderbar from 6:30pm, the night will bring together live music, a headline DJ set from a secret DJ, immersive experiences, gaming, free food and drink, and the chance to get your hands on customisable HEYDUDE shoes. There’ll also be a photo booth to capture the experience. Head to the Dazed Club app to sign up for the HEYDUDE Country Launch party via the RSVP link. Escape the algorithm!
