In the wake of founder Jonathan Anderson’s ascension to Dior, the move made a lot of sense, as the designer is in charge of all three major arms of the French maison (men’s, women’s and couture). Despite that packed schedule, Anderson still had time to unveil the rebooted JW this weekend, inviting guests to a presentation of the new lifestyle store concept in Paris’s Galerie Joseph. As well as all the new homeware products in the store – like vintage watering cans, gardening tools, jars of honey and Mackintosh stools – the presentation also featured items from JW Anderson’s new Resort Spring 2026 collection. Described in a press release as “at once a ‘best of’ and a prelude to new evolutions,” the collection features some new reinterpretations of JW classics, like the cottage cardigans from the SS25 men’s show, and also more basic wardrobe staples like Fair Isle jumpers and Japanese denim jeans. The reboot is accompanied by a mammoth 125-page lookbook showing off the new collection, and Anderson has tapped a bunch of his mates to model the clothes. In the new images, director Luca Guadagnino wears one of the cottage cardigans and also a sweatshirt that says ‘Anonymous Lovers’ on it, while influencer Fai Khadra looks slick in a jet black blazer while whipping off some dark shades. Elsewhere, the ‘Anonymous’ series continues with sweats and knits that say ‘Anonymous Trade’ and ‘Anonymous Faggots’, Joe Alwyn looks forlorn while wearing a praying mantis bowling shirt, and Ben Whishaw wraps himself in a neon pink scarf and matching floppy hat. Making up the rest of the lookbook are various models, actors and fashion industry collaborators including Saltburn actress Alison Oliver, celebrity stylist Danielle Goldberg, fashion designer Bella Freud, pop star Oliver Sim and photographer Gray Sorrenti.
