FKA twigs is a fashion designer now

Throughout her career, FKA twigs has taken on many guises. Singer? Check. Dancer? Yep. Actress? Sure! Pole dancer, runway model, martial artist and master swordsman? Tick, tick, tick. And now, with her latest collaboration, the British musician can add fashion designer to that growing list.

twigs first teamed up with sportswear brand On back in April 2024 as its newest “creative partner”, and in September starred in its “The Body Is Art” campaign. After a second campaign dropped in January 2025, twigs is now back for a third go, and this time she’s in the designer chair. “On and multi-talented artist, singer and dancer FKA twigs debut their first ever capsule collection for Spring/Summer 25,” read a statement released this morning (June 19), “marking a milestone in the evolving creative partnership that continues to push the boundaries of movement and self-expression.”

Inspired by twigs own high-octane, multidisciplinary approach to her work (remember that list above?), the collection features the ‘Studio Bra FKA’ which is designed to provide a “no-feel” sensation when wearing, the dance-inspired ‘Cloud x FKA’ trainers, and a cute skort (skirt in the front, shorts in the back) for ultimate freedom of movement when training.

“I live a busy and varied life, often moving between training, meetings, and studio sessions in a single day. I wanted to create pieces that could move with me through those shifts – pieces that feel sensual and strong, and reflect all the different sides of who I am,” twigs said in an accompanying statement. “This capsule collection is about feeling confident in your body and free to express yourself º whether you’re dancing, creating, or just moving through your day.”

And, of course, along with the new collection comes a brand new campaign, starring twigs and shot by her photographer partner Jordan Hemingway. Styled by Georgia Pendlebury and creative directed by twigs herself, the new campaign features time-lapse images of the musician leaping through the air while wearing the new collection, plus another shot in a blood red pixie crop and matching contact lenses.
