Met Gala 2025: Every single red carpet look you need to see

From Riri’s baby bump to André 3000’s grand piano, there was a lot to unpack from the Met steps this year – here’s everything you missed from the night

And that’s a wrap on fashion’s biggest night out for another year. The first Monday in May has officially been and gone, but don’t worry, we’re still trying to catch up with all the looks. Rihanna (accidentally) stole the show twice, snapped arriving at the Carlyle hotel in Miu Miu, before closing the carpet in Marc Jacobs, accompanied by a surprise baby bump

This year’s exhibition theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, saw attendees pay tribute to the likes of André Leon Talley, Josephine Baker, Julius Soubise and pioneering Black designers such as Ozwald Boateng and Dapper Dan. Several trends quickly emerged: a flood of umbrellas (it was raining to be fair), canes, hats, an absence of pants and a flurry of white suits lit up the red carpet. It was a great moment for London designers too – the likes of Grace Wales Bonner, Torishéju and Ahluwalia all had a presence on the carpet.

Since we’ve got a whole year to wait before the next one, why not take some time to scroll through all the best looks from the Met Gala 2025 in the gallery above.
