Gabbriette is taking over H&M Stockholm for a one-night-only art activation

In the brand’s hometown, H&M is hosting an inspiring day of art centred around the inimitable Gabbriette. Here’s how to join

Following the launch of its SS25 collection, Notes On Being, H&M is heading home. This coming Friday (April 18), the Swedish brand lands in Stockholm, with model, artist and It-girl Gabbriette taking over the Drottninggatan flagship store for a live ‘life drawing’ session and in-store installation.

Known for her gothic glamour and DGAF approach to beauty, the LA-based model and musician first broke through with Nasty Cherry (Charli xcx’s girl band experiment), before becoming a muse for the likes of Heaven by Marc Jacobs, Diesel and Balenciaga. On Instagram and TikTok, she’s become a cult figure for her chaotic food content and razor-sharp personal style.

This Friday, she steps into the spotlight once again, this time as a live model for artist and designer Max Danet, who will be painting her portrait directly onto a leather jacket, turning living art into fine art, while guests are invited to pick up a sketchpad and draw alongside him.

Gabbriette has also created her own custom artwork to mark the occasion, which will be available on limited-edition t-shirts and posters – all printed live in-store, free to take home. A lucky few may leave with t-shirts signed by the model herself.

The event runs Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm at H&M Drottninggatan 56 and is first come, first served, so secure your spot via the link. If you miss it, drop by the store over the weekend – merch printing continues Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5pm. But act fast, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Keep an eye out for future events from H&M here, too. We’ve heard the next one is going to be utterly Coucou …
