Paris Hilton is selling her Y2K archive in aid of the LA fires

The online wardrobe sale, in collaboration with Vestiaire Collective, features fashion grails from Louis Vuitton, Juicy Couture, Miu Miu and more

Good news for Y2K obsessives: heiress, entrepreneur and 00s It-girl Paris Hilton is partnering with Vestiaire Collective for a closet sale of all her favourite designer pieces. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to Hilton’s nonprofit charity org 11:11 Media Impact, and more specifically its effort to support relief from the devastating Los Angeles fires.

“This collection is filled with personal treasures that hold so many memories,” Hilton said of the online sale in a statement. “From sparkly dresses I wore to iconic parties to designer bags that travelled the world with me, each piece is so special. It’s always hard to part with items that mean so much, but knowing that the proceeds go to charity made it easier.”

Close to 100 items are being listed in the sale and, as expected, the roster is stacked with holy grails from the Y2K era. Not one but two Juicy Couture velour tracksuits are up for grabs in purple and black, as well as some of those winged hi-top trainers from adidas x Jeremy Scott, and a Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami bag from the original SS03 drop.

Also on the list are two jackets from Von Dutch and Versace that are both autographed, a studded Miu Miu motorcycle jacket and a leather trench coat from Christopher Bailey’s Burberry. Elsewhere, other brands up for grabs include Balenciaga, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Mugler, and MCM.

As well as helping the victims of January’s devastating fires, the sale will also support Hilton’s charity in its ongoing mission to protect vulnerable youth from child abuse. “I can't think of a better way to combine my greatest passions, fashion and charity, than with a closet sale,” said Hilton.

“Fashion has the power to tell stories of self-expression and identity, and our closet sales have always been about celebrating trailblazers,” echoed Vestiaire co-founder and president Fanny Moizant. “Paris is a true icon, inspiring us not only with her bold style, but also with her courage to share her personal story to spark change. As pioneers in the fashion industry, committed to creating a more sustainable future, we are proud to collaborate with Paris.”
