What went down at The Attico’s sun-kissed Napoli takeover

To celebrate the launch of its latest swimwear capsule collection, the Milan-based brand took guests on a special tour of the Italian coastal city

Last week, Italian fashion label The Attico launched its latest beachwear capsule collection entitled ‘Napoli Vista Mare’. Heavily inspired by the beauty and energy of Naples. The collection features a series of vibrant bandana prints and bright colours capturing the essence of Italian summer.

To celebrate the launch, Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, The Attico co-founders and creative directors, brought selected guests – including Dazed cover star Vittoria Ceretti, DJ Fiona Zanetti and model Malika El Maslouhi – on an exciting voyage through the city that inspired the collection.

Here’s what went down over the weekend.

THE ATTICO TOOK GUESTS ON THE ULTIMATE TOUR OF NAPLES

Over two days, the guests experienced many different iconic locations and famous local small businesses. A perfect blend of all things fashion, art and gastronomy, the weekend also saw guests try the iconic puff pastries from the historic F.lli Attanasio bakery before heading to the exclusive dinner.

THERE WAS A SURPRISE POWERED BY NIKE

A special highlight of the event was the reveal of renditions of the Nike Cortez sneakers made in partnership with Nike. Available only to guests of the event, the shoes were in a white leather complete with various metal embellishments including charms decorated with the word ‘Napoli’, a horn dedicated to Neapolitan tradition and charms with The Attico logo.

ENDED WITH PARTY AND DINNER OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN

The main launch event took place in Posillipo, a three-storey villa built on a cruciform plan overlooking the water in the Gulf of Naples. Arriving by dinghy, the guests then enjoyed a dinner prepared by renowned Italian chef Ciro Oliva of the famous Concettina ai Tre Santi restaurant.

The after-party was soundtracked by DJ sets from Carlita, and model and DJ Fiona Zannetti at a sea-view villa in Posillipo.
