The reason? They were there to see Olivia Rodrigo, whose global Guts tour finally landed in the British capital. With the musician known for dreamy, pastel-hued videos lensed by Harley Weir, and an affinity with the kind of late 90s/early noughties Kinderwhore aesthetics the likes of Courtney Love laid the blueprint for back in the day, fans followed suit when it came to their looks. Slouchy denim jackets that looked like they’d been borrowed from slacker boyfriends were chucked over glittering tube dresses, pouffy ballet skirts came paired with ‘I Love London’ baby tees, and sugary chiffon babydolls were finished with clompy Docs and fluffy marabou-trimmed cowboy hats.
