The best street style from a rain-soaked Milan Fashion Week

The grey weather didn’t stop Yu Fujiwara from capturing all the looks outside the AW24 shows

After a grey, miserable London Fashion Week, the fashion pack might have thought Milan Fashion Week would offer some respite from the rain. Well, they were wrong. Similarly dreary, it didn’t stop showgoers and fashion fanatics from serving their best looks.

Captured, as always, by Yu Fujiwara, the faces outside the AW24 womenswear shows feature off-duty models like Maggie Maurer and Xu Meen, fashion’s fave fanboy Lyas, as well as the (alleged) King of Milano – complete with plastic crown and QR code to follow him on Instagram.

Elsewhere, mob wife-appropriate cheetah print and pops of colour help to banish the grey skies. There’s plenty of quiet moments too, with Fujiwara’s lens capturing ordinary behind-the-scenes action from stacks of hangers to the pizza keeping everyone fuelled.
