Of course Priscilla Presley is a Miu Miu girlie!

Cailee Spaeny stars alongside Emma Corrin and Angel Haze in the label’s SS24 campaign

Were Priscilla Presley to be rising to fame today, it’s highly likely she’d have been papped on the red carpet wearing the odd Miu Miu look or two. The pop culture legend, currently subject of an extremely aesthetically pleasing Sofia Coppola biopic, had a similar penchant for the kind of clothes Mrs Prada churns out for the house’s bratty little sister line, slipping into coquettish twin sets, slinky pencil skirts, and a-line minis on a regular basis.

It makes sense, then, that Mrs P would enlist rising star Cailee Spaeny, who plays Priscilla in the film of the same name, to star front and centre of her SS24 Miu Miu campaign, after the actor closed the Paris show back in September. Seen alongside familiar face and house muse Emma Corrin – who themselves also appeared on the catwalk for SS24 – and Angel Haze, Spaeny is seen modelling bookish pieces from the hit new season offering.

The collection itself put forward the frazzled librarian as a figure of inspiration of the season, with Corrin also joined by Mia Goth and Zara Wade on the catwalk in a succession of prissy blouses, a-line skirts, and those prevailing underpants as outerwear. Don’t think it was completely prim and proper, though – as is the Prada way, there was an edge to the look, with models’ hair ruffled up and their clothes all skew-whiff like they’d just been caught having a sexy tryst in the non-fiction aisle.

Take a look at the campaign in the gallery above and watch the film below.
