BTS Polaroids of NYFW’s raucous JPG x KNWLS party

Jean Paul Gaultier and KNWLS might be based in Paris and London respectively, but it was New York City where the brands chose to celebrate the launch of their long-awaited collaborative collection. 

Landing in the city during fashion week to throw a raucous party, guests like Ice Spice, Doja Cat, Julia Fox, and more slipped into lewks from the offering – which, ICYMI, splices classic Gaultier staples like the enfant-terrible designer’s tattoo prints and Blond Ambition cone bras with KNWLS’ slinky, second-skin silhouettes and diaphanous fabrics.

On hand to capture the night was Andrew Tess, who took time out from dashing across the city between shows to snap the likes of Tinashe, Paramore’s Hayley Williams, and legendary nightlife queen Amanda Lepore. Click through the gallery above for a closer look.
