Joining that line-up, alongside stalwarts like All Points East and Field Day, is Ray-Ban’s brand new day party SUN-DAY. Taking place for the first time on June 21 – which FYI, is the longest day of the year – the event “pays homage to the most powerful star”, with the brand hoping the rain will stay at bay and attendees will be “wrapped in a golden glow” as the sun sinks into the horizon. With SUN-DAY events also scheduled for Tel Aviv and Paris, with a pit-stop in New York to round things off, Ray-Ban’s London event will take over hotel and bonafide creative hub The Standard’s rooftop, which has previously seen everyone from Shygirl to Kelela to Dev Hynes perform. In Ray-Ban’s hands it’s the turn of rising Radio One star Tiffany Calver to take the reins, as she presents her No Requests show live and direct. Bringing together a roster of 100 per cent female and non-binary established artists and names to know, the whole day will embody the spirit of summer and allow guests to get lost in the joy the sun brings.
